The Forehand Drive
Back Swing
- Right foot moves slightly back.
- Left foot adjusts to side on position.
- Rotate backwards from hips to waist.
- Arm rotates back at elbow and slightly down.
Forward Movement
- Transfer weight from back foot onto front foot.
- Arm moves forward and up with a closed bat angle.
- Waist and hips rotate forward.
- Contact is made in front of the body at the top of the bounce of the ball.
Follow Through
- Racket follows through forward and up.
- Recover to ready position as the final part of the stroke.
